Training Tip
Tabata sprints are a great way to lose weight and increase your body’s ability to process oxygen (Vo2 Max).
Basic set:
1. 20 sec sprint as hard as you can.
2. 10 sec rest
Do this pattern for 8 sets equaling 4min. Remember that your running should be at maximum intensity (speed) and once your 10 sec rest is over you need to immediately resume that intensity, cheating won’t help! At the end of this 4 min you should be completely exhausted, if it was easy you didn’t do it right!
